Application
Every year the National Initiative for Trauma Education and Workforce Development hosts a three-day summer institute in early June for twenty faculty from schools of social work that are interested in offering our trauma intervention course entitled “Core Components for Trauma Education and Workforce Development”. A description of the course and the course objectives can be found here.
All expenses (travel, lodging and per diem) are paid for faculty traveling to Chapel Hill for the Institute. If your school is interested, please complete the application form (link below) and or contact Dr. Virginia Strand at Virginia_Strand@unc.edu. Please note that your school must have approved the course and agreed to offer it in the year following attendance at the summer institute.
