Jason Lang, Ph.D. is Vice President of Mental Health Initiatives at the Child Health and Development Institute (CHDI), an independent intermediary organization focused on improving well-being for all children. Dr. Lang leads CHDI’s behavioral health work in the areas of trauma informed care, evidence-based practices, school and community programs, and policy and systems development. His approach bridges research, community-based practice, systems, policy, and family preferences to create innovative, sustainable, and equitable improvements to behavioral health supports for children and families. He is a licensed clinical psychologist who also holds appointments as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at UCONN Health and at the Yale Child Study Center, was a member of SAMHSA’s National Child Traumatic Stress Network’s Steering Committee, and has published and presented nationally about childhood trauma and dissemination of evidence-based treatments.
