Presently, Adam Englert holds a BA from Coastal Carolina University and a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. After completing his MSW, Adam served as a behavioral health research associate and clinical instructor for the University of South Carolina. Adam worked as part of the design team creating simulation labs for a Student Training Series at the College of Social Work at USC. Adam’s research interests consist of taking a systems approach to understanding risk and protective factors as mechanisms in depression and trauma among adolescents from low socioeconomic households. He is also interested in implementing evidence-based practices in community mental health settings for adolescents and families. Adam has been in private clinical practice providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Prolonged Exposure for trauma, specializing in adolescent populations, since 2019, and maintains a license as a Master Social Worker.
